If Money Was Not An Issue #4

This is such a fun topic for the Blog Hop today. These are the fun ones I like. I can day dream about “what if.”

If money and time were not an issue, what would I want to do ? The problem is that it is an issue. It has and always will be. I will be plagued from now on,but that is not where I am at. Today I am day dreaming of what could have been.

What could have been are the times of travel. I would love to visit Ireland, Scotland and Israel, but not in that order. To learn about the culture and to see some breath taking scenery. Since my favorite music is Celtic, I would like to see some of the places and towns that the music really brings out. Israel, for me, would be the best trip of all to see Jerusalem and The Mount of Olives.

My second dream would be to go to college and to get my degree in conservation. It would have to be a major in conservation with a minor in writing. If you had not noticed I love animals and that is truly a passion of mine. To be able to share my love for conservation with anyone who would listen.

My last “dream” is one that is closer still to my heart. To become a writer in either a small or grand scheme. I love the idea of sharing thought on a screen or paper. I love the written word and I would share with anyone who would read it.

These, right now, are my passions. Passions of what is going on in my soul. Believe me, I have more dreams, but right now, these are the ones that stand out to me.

I am ready to do what God has called me to do.

What about you? What are some of your “dreams?”

  1. eanie, these are beautiful dreams. I love your heart for the animals…your posts always make me smile!

If money weren’t an option for me I’d visit my kids more, travel (Israel, Italy and Alaska), and have a home in Alaska to vacation there and do missions there.

  3. Love your dreams. I have a dream of writing a children’s book someday but I am not getting any younger and now retired and been dreaming this dream for a very long time. I also shared your dream of going back to college and I did at 52 and graduated at 54 with honors. Go for it! You can do it and it feels good. Thanks for sharing. Debbie W. 4. I love your dream Jeanie 🙂 My dream may sound silly to most, because they think of it as simple. My dream is to live on a small farm, and be a good wife to a good man. Simple, but what I have always wanted to be since a small girl. I just never told anyone until now. I have lived my life according to what everyone else has expected or thought worthy.
